General
- Respect SceneTime staff and users at all times.
- Aggressive behavior, including flaming and defamation, will not be tolerated.
- Media including racism, nudity, sexism, sexual positions and aggressive religious stances will not be tolerated.
- Queries regarding ranks will result in your account being demoted. If we feel you deserve it, you will be promoted.
- Please do not request username changes.
Downloading
- You must seed for at least 72 hours.
- Hit and Run behaviour will result in a warning.
- If your ratio reaches 0.3 or below, your downloading permission will be automatically revoked.
- Cheating is not accepted, period. We have an automatic system to detect suspect behaviour as well as manual checks. If you cheat you will receive an immediate ban.
Uploading
- All uploads must include a proper description or you will receive a warning. After 3 warnings you will be demoted.
- Do not include any serial numbers, CD keys or similar in the description.
- No external tracker advertising. Remove ALL references of external trackers from title, description and internal files.
- Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 72 hours.
- Stay active! You risk demotion if you have no active torrents. No uploads in 4 weeks will result in demotion for inactivity.
- You must have legal rights to the file you are uploading.
- Check the FAQ and upload page for the latest rules.
Forum
- English is the site-wide language, especially in the forums.
- Aggressive behavior, including flaming and defamation, will not be tolerated.
- Foul language is accepted, but keep it reasonable and to a minimum.
- Absolutely no links to websites containing warez, serial codes, cracks, trackers, streaming or money-making content.
- Advertising seedbox services is for the seedbox forum only. Posts outside this area will be deleted and your account warned.
- Do not request releases, unless allowed in specified threads.
- If you disagree with a staff member, do not start a flaming war. Contact another staff member via PM.
- If posting adult content, please add [18+] in the thread title.
- Use the search function — many questions have been asked before.
Forum Safety & Guidelines
- Do not post personal information (address, email, IP, real name).
- Don't write posts in ALL CAPS.
- Don't bump posts. Use the Support area for support requests.
- Post all threads in the correct section.
Avatar & Images
- Do not use obscene content as an avatar (abuse, racism, death, mutilation, hardcore pornography).
- Avatar sizing must not exceed 150×300.
- Use a sensible image size when using image tags.
